How Long Does It Take to Receive a Transcript?

Processing time for continuing education transcripts is typically 2 to 6 weeks.

  • Peak season (July–September) may result in longer processing times
  • We recommend submitting your request at least 4 weeks before your deadline
  • There is no charge to request transcripts

Sending Transcripts to Another University

Applying to a graduate program or another institution? Yes, we can send your official CEU transcript directly to the school.

  • Complete a transcript request
  • Include the recipient school’s mailing or email address
  • Choose electronic delivery (e-transcript) for faster processing

Request a Continuing Education Transcript

If you completed a professional development course or CEU training (including VESi programs), follow these steps:

  1. Download the Transcript Request Form
  2. Complete the form using Adobe Reader
  3. Save the completed form as a PDF
  4. Email your request to ceuprograms@sjsu.edu

Tips for Faster Delivery

  • Select the e-transcript option when available
  • Provide a valid email address for delivery

Important Information

  • CEU transcripts include non-credit continuing education courses only
  • Undergraduate and graduate academic records are NOT included
  • To request academic transcripts, please contact the Office of the Registrar

Paying for Your CEUs


If you completed training but still need to purchase CEUs, follow these steps:

  • Visit the CEU payment site
  • Enter your course and personal information
  • Add the item to your cart and complete checkout

Payment Details

  • A 2.56% non-refundable service fee applies to credit and debit card payments
  • Accepted cards include Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover
  • Avoid fees by selecting ACH (bank transfer)

Once your attendance and course completion are verified:

  • CEU transcript requests are processed within 2 to 6 weeks
  • Transcripts are delivered after verification is complete

If participation cannot be verified, your payment will be refunded.
