How do I find a department zip code and/or location?

You can search the SJSU Directory, which is managed by University Personnel, or the Campus Zip Code Extensions document, which is maintained by Distribution Services.

How can I get more Intercampus envelopes?

Contact the Administrative Support Coordinator to request envelopes free of charge.

How can I reduce the number of Intercampus envelopes my department has?

Place your excess envelopes in a box or tub and leave them in your outbound staging area.

Does Distribution Services sell postage stamps for business or personal use?

No, Distribution Services does not carry postage stamps.

Does Distribution Services have shipping supplies?

Yes, we have bubble wrap, butcher paper and shipping tape, in addition to a variety of FedEx and UPS envelopes, pouches and boxes.

I don’t have a UPS CampusShip or FedEx Ship Manager account, how can I ship a package?

Complete the Shipment Request Form [DocuSign]. Print it and attach it to the package. Place the package in the outbound staging area or call 408-924-1594 for a pickup.

How do I return a package to a vendor?

Contact the vendor for a Return Material Authorization number (RMA). If the item is from a PO, also notify the buyer. The vendor will provide the shipping instructions.

How do I get a UPS CampusShip or FedEx Ship Manager account for business shipments?

Complete the Application for Online Shipping [pdf].

Can I use my UPS CampusShip or FedEx Ship Manager to create a personal shipment?

No, campus shipping accounts are for SJSU business purposes only.

What should I do if I cannot access my UPS CampusShip or FedEx Ship Manager account?

Contact the Administrative Support Administrator to reset your password or to get your User ID.

How can I track a shipment?

Contact the Workflow Coordinator with the carrier name and tracking number.

Can I have personal shipments delivered to Distribution Services?

No, we only handle business related mail and packages; personal shipments, including flower and balloon deliveries, will be refused.
